However, this is a sad game that had much better sequels. An absolute Nintendo Classic using the ingenious creative skills of Hal Laboratory to create the best, most intensely action filled Nintendo Franchise yet. This game was pretty good, but it got old very fast. The reason I was so excited to try this game, and I still think this was it's neatest feature, was the fact that it was combining several series of games in one.
Out of all the characters you have to choose from, there a little someone from almost everything. It was super exciting to see them all in one game, but the game play itself gets old. You can only punch someone so many times. The game basically is a constant fighting game. You can have up to four players and the object is to Well, be the last one standing. I'd say about the first times you play it is cool, but after that it starts to wear on you. I've also never been into fighting games that much, so it may just be that this game wasn't in the right genre for me.
All in all, the game looked cool on the surface, but just didn't end up being 'all that'. I got this game when it came out and have played super smash games since then.
